For the launch of its Home Living Essentials Collection, Anko Philippines gives the Alveo Showroom in Greenbelt, Makati an Australian makeover with Filipino sensibilities
For an afternoon in Greenbelt, Makati, home and lifestyle brand Anko crafted a condominium takeover event to showcase the launch of its Home Living Essentials Collection. Curated by interior decorator Nicole Rosenberg, the event showcased how Australians and Filipinos intersect in their shared disciplines for creativity and versatile design.

Set within the Alveo Showroom, guests, alongside lifestyle and family-centered content creators, were welcomed to a foyer decorated with locally-picked flora that complemented the brand’s magenta color palette.
As attendees begin to settle with grazing plates and mocktails made from Australian-sourced ingredients, country manager Rachel Turner opens the event’s tour with remarks that later transitions to an official announcement of actress Anne Curtis-Smith as the brand’s first Philippine ambassador.
“For me, seeing all of the arts and crafts pieces, the lifestyle and home products, [Anko’s] products match every living space and family occasion. Being Anko’s first ever ambassador, it actually makes me so proud to share them with you,” shared the model-actress through a reveal video showcased at the event.

To formally introduce the lifestyle brand’s latest collection, Turner then presents Anko’s home living design manager Siri Thanissorn and Anko’s resident homewares buyer Nicholas Holmes through a dedicated video which showcased the collection’s various use-cases and decorative presentations.
“This collection, we’ve incorporated soft and fluid forms and clean lines for your home. We’ve also taken notes from nature, with a touch of light blue and layered it with natural tones, offering a stylish yet affordable way to update your space freely your way,” shares Holmes
During the showroom tour, Rosenberg then guides attendees across the different room settings of a two-bedroom unit to highlight the versatility of the collection’s pieces.

From a dining table arrangement which blended the rippled design of the Dune Small Bowls [PHP100] and U-Shape Blue Vase [PHP440] with linen napkins, and brass-plated cutlery to a living room ensemble which highlights the Ribbed Faux Fur Throw [PHP530] among warm-toned linen covers and Fragrant Candles [PHP220], the Liberty Interiors founder shares how the collection encourages creativity without sacrificing quality.
“I appreciate how Anko’s home living collection makes styling effortless yet exciting, allowing anyone to create a beautiful and functional home without overconsuming,” she details.

Having just opened its Glorietta 2 flagship last November 7, Anko Philippines now foresees its next chapter set further south of Metro Manila in Alabang Town Center, with an upcoming third later this year in Trinoma Mall which is teased to be the brand’s largest branch.
For Anko Philippines, the brand aims to continue its mission of blending Australian home design with Filipino hospitality as they, too, resonate in familial connection. “As Filipinos, our homes are where we create memories, find comfort and share love. With Anko, I know that can be done with affordability and quality in mind,” shares Curtis-Smith.
