At the Vogue Studios Launch, Vaseline Philippines brought together Vogue Faces talents and style influencers to spotlight confidence, individuality, and healthy, glowing skin
On a Wednesday night, Vogue Studios Philippines opened its doors to a sea of black-clad creatives in Studio Red at Shooting Gallery. Over 300 creatives came together for the launch of the magazine’s media channels, spanning YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and an upcoming podcast.
In an event built around moving images and meaningful stories, Vaseline Philippines unveiled Your Skin, Your Glow, a campaign celebrating individuality, confidence, and healthy, radiant skin.
Inside the TikTok Room, a rooftop-inspired portrait session by Aniken Dela Cruz set against a deep blue sky invited guests to step in front of the camera with Vogue Faces talents Paolo Arboleda, Nicole Herradura, Giancarlo Dimalanta, Jasmine Moawad, and Carylle Salvador and Vaseline’s roster of influencers, Matt Santiago, Robin Jay, Denisee Annthea Chua, and Kyle Semaña, each sharing how they feel most confident in their own skin.

Paolo Arboleda
“Dressing in a way that highlights my birthmarks has become one of my favourite forms of self-expression,” says Arboleda, wearing a sheer lace top that features the birthmark on his back.
On how he found confidence in his own body, the creative shares, “Being part of the LGBTQIA+ community taught me the value of visibility in spaces where greatness is celebrated, and I felt free to show all of myself. Even the parts I considered flaws of my birthmarks now connect me to others who felt different, and embracing them reminds me that belonging begins with self-acceptance.”

Nicole Herradura
Living with eczema and body hair has become part of Herradura’s bold self-image. “My family is one of the biggest parts of my skin journey,” says the 21-year-old model, sharing how supportive they are of dealing with her skin condition by adjusting their lifestyle and diet for her.
For the evening, Herradura wore a strappy dress with a leather corset, highlighting her alternative style. “When I wear sleeveless tops and clothes where I can feel bold and sexy, it empowers me.”

Jasmine Moawad
For the beauty queen and model, Moawad sees her skin as a medium for self-expression. “It’s my canvas, helping me showcase my creativity, mood, and personality.”
At the Vogue Philippines Studios launch, the half-Sudanese, half-Filipino model shares how she overcame her struggles with her skin and body, “I used to be shy about my body and skin, thinking I was different, but I was wrong. Over time, I discovered inspiring people who spoke proudly about their own skin, and it made me see the beauty in mine.”

Giancarlo Dimalanta
The model, who recently moved to the Philippines from New Zealand, shares about his journey with eczema, even calling his scars leopard spots. He shares: “I feel like navigating [and] coming to terms with how your skin is in every moment of your life will always just be something that every person has to come to terms with, like, individually.”
For a night where music was also at the centerpiece of the Vogue Philippines Studios launch, Dimalanta says that ballroom culture helped him feel confident in his own skin. “Every time I walk, I have to walk with complete confidence. I have to convince the judges that I am the beauty standard.”

Carylle Salvador
Once teased for her complexion and later dealing with acne and skin asthma, Salvador admits that when she was a teenager, she tried to fit into the mold of what she thought was the beauty standard. “I thought [it] was going to make me more likeable, more desirable for others and for myself.”
Over the years, the now 21-year-old embraces dressing up as self-expression. She says, “Since I am an artist and I love to make art, I also love dressing up. My skin serves as a canvas as well for my stylish and artistic endeavors. Everything starts with my skin. So I try my best to take care of it and treat it as if it were something sacred.”

Matt Santiago
For the lifestyle and fashion content creator, Santiago says that an instant confidence boost for him is an all-black outfit. Clad in a suede blazer, top from Zara, and shoes from Saint Laurent, he shares that a black ensemble “feels masculine, simple, and never goes wrong.”
Santiago also adds that he has always taken care of skin, further making him even confident in his body. “Along with my skin, my style evolves as well. It’s definitely about glowing up each time.”

Denise Annthea Chua
“Every time I go out and [pick out] an outfit, it’s usually highlighting one part of my body. It’s either upper with more skin or lower with more skin to balance it out,” shares Chua.
The fashion and lifestyle content creator, wearing an Aecia dress, shares that pinning down her style is all about evolving. “I just learn to evolve my style and dress up more to complement my body rather than hating my big size or my big hips.”

Kyle Semaña
For the beauty content creator, his style confidence is all about feelings. “It really depends on my mood on how I want to express myself,” says Semaña. When asked about an outfit that could instantly boost his confidence, he shares, “A good black coat, like the one I’m wearing now, gives off a powerful aura.”
He also adds that color is another factor in how he expresses himself. “I love vibrant colors. It adds positive energy.”
