90s Kabaklaan exhibit returns for one day, on January 25
90s Kabaklaan’s one day only exhibit at Archivo 1984 returns, once again, for one day only. The show runs from 6-9PM and features a multimedia exhibit of Filipino pop culture gems from the ’90s, including magazines, literature, memes, commercials, and clips.
CSB Sinulid exhibit begins January 26
The College of Saint Benilde’s graduate fashion show SINULID lands at Podium Mall in Ortigas beginning January 26, showcasing the pieces of 62 students from their Fashion Design and Merchandising program.
Stand-Up for Palestine fundraiser on January 27
Designer Rio Cuervo prepared kitschy watermelon-shaped earrings made from her brand RIOtaso Clothing’s “ice gem” textile series as part of a fundraiser to benefit refugees living in Metro Manila presently. The comedy show features stand-up artists such as Andren Bernardo, Aldo Cuervo, Alexio Tabafundo, and more, in an effort for art to reflect and support important social conversation.
