Gracie Abrams Just Shut Down Vogue World 2025 With a Carole King Cover (and Fresh-Off-the-Runway Chanel)

Hollywood royalty was out in force at Vogue World 2025, and fortunately for the event’s attendees, that included one Gracie Abrams, who performed a medley of Carole King’s iconic 1971 hit “I Feel the Earth Move” and her own song “That’s So True,” from her 2024 album The Secret of Us.

Abrams was dressed for the occasion in a floral-embellished burgundy set from Chanel’s spring 2026 collection—the celebrated debut outing of Matthieu Blazy, the house’s new creative director.

A native Angeleno, Abrams has often spoken out for her hometown since this year’s devastating wildfires, telling the crowd at January’s FireAid benefit concert: “I grew up in the Palisades, and my heart is with all of my neighbors. We are so grateful and blown away by all the firefighters who put their lives on the line to protect all of us.” Happily, proceeds from Vogue World: Hollywood will benefit the Entertainment Community Fund, with a focus on supporting costume designers impacted by those fires—a moving gesture indeed.
