Vogue Threads 2025
This month, Vogue Threads Manila returns with photo exhibitions, masterclasses, panel discussions, a casting call, a portfolio review, and immersive activities for creatives and aspirants. Pingkian: Isang Musikal
Pingkian: Isang Musikal returns this year at the CCP Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez (Black Box Theater). From September 12 to October 12, theater and history enthusiasts can watch the journey of Emilio Jacinto on stage, with music by Ejay Yatco and direction by Jenny Jamora. Tara, Tara
At the First United Building in Escolta, the works of twelve contemporary artists will be showcased in an exhibition entitled “Tara, Tārā.” The works center around the “Agusin Image on a pilgrimage of absence and longing, in the hopes of making this image imaginable again.”
The opening reception will take place at 4:00 PM on September 13, inside the First United Building in Escolta.
Japanese Film Festival 2025
This September 18, the Japanese Film Festival returns to Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Angeles, and Davao City. From classics to new releases, the festival’s lineup includes films such as Cells at Work!, Teasing Master Takagi-san, Ghost In The Shell, Seven Samurai, and Spirited Away.
