Underneath the glow of the Eiffel Tower, Business of Fashion welcomes the BoF 500 Class of 2024.

Described as “the Olympics of fashion” by Imran Amed, the Business of Fashion (BoF) has introduced a roster of influential people in fashion over the past 10 years through the BoF 500. First introduced in 2013, it began as a live index of the 500 most influential people in the global fashion industry. This year, with a gala held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris, BoF introduces its Class of 2024.

The BoF 500 is guided by the core question “Who is shaping the global fashion industry of today and tomorrow?” Through a process of gathering nominations from industry sources around the world, BoF then conducts extensive research and evaluates each nominee based on key factors, such as leadership, creativity, innovation, social impact, and success.

This year’s latest inductees include people of 37 nationalities based in 26 countries, with names across eight categories: executives, media, retailers, entrepreneurs, creative class, models and muses, and catalysts. New names include Italian singer and Diesel ambassador Damiano David, Gap creative director Zac Posen, Pakistani designer Faraz Manan, French-Algerian fashion narrator Lyas, and Canadian Derek Guy, who is known for critiquing menswear on the social media platform X.

Over cocktails, dinner, and a surprise performance by Nigerian-born Afrobeats artist Wizkid, guests gathered, danced, and celebrated on the terrace under the glow of the Eiffel Tower. With guests from over 70 nationalities, BoF welcomed attendees such as Greta Lee, Heart Evangelista, Pia Wurtzbach, Ayo Edebiri, Kylie Jenner, Victoria Beckham, Jared Leto, Coco Rocha, Revolve and FRWD’s Raissa Gerona and Michael Mente, Vogue Philippines CEO and publisher Archie Carrasco, VP for business development Randolf Palanca, editor-in-chief Bea Valdes, and fashion director Pam Quiñones.
