As two of the most famous people in the world, it’s understandable that Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s relationship – certainly in the early months – largely played out in the shadows, with fans’ insights limited to grainy shots of the pair out together in face masks and baseball caps pulled low, or footage of them arriving separately at each other’s houses. But, as a result, when they do step out in public, the response is internet pandemonium – even more so because this much-obsessed-over pair just can’t seem to keep their hands off one another.
As Kylie and Timothée’s latest joint appearance goes viral, we take a look back at some of their sweetest moments to date.
An explosive public debut
Mark your calendars: On Beyoncé’s 42nd birthday, Timothèe Chalamet and Kylie Jenner made their public debut at SoFi Stadium to see Bey’s Renaissance stop on Sept. 4. Where there’s smoke… 🔥 pic.twitter.com/NUUkqIY8vi

Where else would an Oscar-nominated heartthrob and a bombshell beauty mogul make their first joint public appearance other than in the VIP section of Beyoncé’s insanely starry birthday concert in LA, alongside the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Zendaya, Ayo Edebiri, Meghan Markle, Adele, and Justin and Hailey Bieber? In videos from the night in question, back in September 2023, Kylie and Timothée can be seen holding hands, whispering and laughing together, dancing in each other’s arms and kissing passionately. Cue a complete frenzy – and the birth of a Hollywood power couple.
A meme-worthy trip to the US Open
Just days later, the couple were spotted at the US Open final in New York – but it’s unclear how much of the tense battle between Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev they actually caught. In a surreal series of photos that really have to be seen to be believed, the pair cuddled, leaned in for kisses, snacked on chicken fingers, and took cute photos of each other. Bonus points for their coordinating outfits and sunglasses, too.
A (very on-brand) relationship milestone
Not long after that, Kylie accidentally revealed her phone’s lock screen at the Prada show during Milan Fashion Week: a close-up shot of – what else? – Timothée kissing her affectionately on the cheek. A very relatable relationship milestone from a (sorry) not-particularly-relatable couple.
An adorable show of support
A month and a half on in November, Kylie and Timothée looked happier than ever at the WSJ Magazine 2023 Innovator Awards in New York, where the latter served as a presenter, and supported the former as she received the publication’s brand award. Once again, they were incredibly cosy at dinner, and wore complementary understated looks.
A loved-up appearance at the Golden Globes
In an encounter that felt as though it had been plucked straight out of a rom-com (and should keep lip-readers in business for the rest of time), Kylie and Timothée held hands, canoodled, kissed and whispered sweet nothings to each other over Champagne in the low-lit ballroom of LA’s Beverly Hilton Hotel at the 2024 Golden Globes. The Wonka star might have lost out on the Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy prize to The Holdovers’s Paul Giamatti, but it didn’t look like he minded at all.

2025 Golden Globes? Rinse and repeat
And so an annual outing to the Golden Globes became tradition! At the 2025 ceremony, Kylie joined Timothée and his A Complete Unknown co-stars, Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro, at their table groaning with Moët. Wearing a vintage Versace chainmail dress à la Elizabeth Hurley, the Khy founder and her beau looked every inch the young couple in love.
European rendezvous
As Timothée kept us entertained on the A Complete Unknown press tour, he and Kylie embodied one of the oldest couple-style clichés, “dressed-to-the-nines girlfriend, casual-as-hell boyfriend”, in Paris. It’s fun to see these two being out and proud with their romance, and it seemed they were even sharing a wardrobe by now. Next there was a short stop in Germany for the Berlinale premiere, where Timothée donned a baby-pink Chrome Hearts co-ord, whilst Kylie wore a glittering Balenciaga pre-fall 2024 black gown. And finally, the pair travelled to London for the 2025 BAFTAs: though Kylie skipped the red carpet, she met Timothée inside for the ceremony and twinned with their matched Cartier Panthère rings.
And the award goes to…
Kylie Jenner might have skipped the front rows at fashion week the previous season, but she had an arguably more prestigious seat to occupy beside Timothée Chalamet at the 2025 Oscars. Jenner once again bypassed the red carpet to join her boyfriend at the 97th Academy Awards. She wore a custom Miu Miu body-con dress encrusted with black-caviar beads (followed by corseted black lace from Ashi Studio at the after-party), while Chalamet opted for a leather Givenchy suit in pale yellow. In a sea of conservative, Old Hollywood cosplay, it was refreshing to see two under-30s dressing like, well, under-30s.
More canoodling at the tennis
Just a week after the 2025 Oscars, the pair were back at it – and by it, I mean sipping drinks, holding hands and whispering sweet nothings to each other, this time at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California.
…and court side
It was very much the same story at the Lakers game in LA a month later, in coordinated monochrome looks.
And finally… their red-carpet debut!
Two nights after the 2025 Met Gala, which Jenner attended in skintight custom Ferragamo while Chalamet… *checks notes*… watched the Knicks-Celtics game on an iPad, the couple finally made their red-carpet debut in Rome, at the 70th David di Donatello ceremony. Now, that wasn’t so hard, was it?
Twinning at more basketball matches
The Eastern Conference finals between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers, at Madison Square Garden and then in Indianapolis, called for matching jackets and a ton of PDA.
And twinning on the red carpet
Like it or loathe it, the prevailing opinion was that something – if not quite iconic, then certainly memorable – had occurred when Timothée and Kylie turned up to the Los Angeles premiere of Marty Supreme in matching tangerine Chrome Hearts outfits. Tasteful? No. But it was fun, which is perhaps the point of being young, rich, famous, beautiful and in love. “Is there anything better than watching Hollywood’s hottest double act do a Posh and Becks?” asked Vogue’s Alice Newbold, a line echoed when Hacks stars Meg Stalter and Paul W Downs arrived at the Critics Choice Awards 2026 in a near-identical replica of those hi-vis fits.
Kylie, the campaigner
Kylie has gone all in on the Marty Supreme campaign trail, from repping the film’s merch to those aforementioned ping-pong-ball-orange looks. While she skipped the red carpet at the 2026 Palm Springs International Film Festival – where Timothée was honoured with the Spotlight Award – she still delivered a method-dressing moment in the audience with a custom copper-sequin dress by Ludovic de Saint Sernin. Timothée responded in kind, commenting on the Instagram post Kylie shared of the look with a string of orange hearts.
The public acknowledgement
And then, at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards, Kylie watched on teary-eyed as Timothée scooped the Best Actor prize for Marty Supreme. “Thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation,” he said, during his acceptance speech. “I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” The camera panned to Jenner – who was seated with the movie-makers and dressed in an autumn/winter 1996 Gianni Versace Couture gown – mouthing the words, “I love you.”
The 2026 Golden Globes
Kylie skipped the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globes, but did something arguably more powerful instead: she uploaded a video of herself in a waist-whittling custom Ashi Studio dress to her 391 million Instagram followers, dousing herself in her latest Kylie Cosmetics fragrance. Later, she joined the Marty Supreme table to watch Timothée take home his first-ever Golden Globe. “To my parents, to my partner, thank you,” he said from the stage, as Jenner turned to Odessa A’zion with a bashful, “I’m so happy!”
