After taking their onscreen romance into real life and tying the knot earlier this year, the two just welcomed the birth of their baby boy.
Celebrity couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, known for appearing together on the global hit series Crash Landing On You, welcomed the birth of their baby boy on Sunday, November 27.
The two first connected on the set of Negotiation, before reuniting several years later for Crash Landing On You or CLOY, Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin were quickly propelled into the mainstream spotlight when the series first premiered in 2019. The show sits as the second highest-rated Korean Drama of All Time on Cable and has the highest viewership ratings of all time on the South Korean channel TVN.
Beyond their glamorous looks on the show, the pair’s undeniable onscreen chemistry sparked numerous rumors early on, with fans eagerly following their public appearances together. In January 2021, the actors’ respective agencies announced that they had been dating for the past eight months.
In February 2022, Bin wrote to fans through his management’s Instagram, “I’m going to make an important decision called marriage and carefully step into the second stage of my life,” the actor wrote, vowing “To walk together the days ahead.”
A month later, they tied the knot in a heartfelt ceremony. Hyun Bin’s management shared a fairytale photoshoot of the couple, who dawned various fashionable wedding looks to celebrate the occasion.
In one spread, Hyun Bin was pictured in a cream Tom Ford tuxedo holding Son Ye-jin’s hand. The actress beamed in a dreamy white Spring 2022 Elie Saab gown with embellishments that covered her cinched bodice and lightly dispersed to reveal her full tulle skirt. The second picture sees Hyun Bin in a cream suit while Son Ye-jin wears an ephemeral Spring 2022 Vera Wang Camellia wedding dress.
Three months later, Ye-jin took to her social media to announce her pregnancy, writing “New life has come to us.” This weekend, her management MSTeam Entertainment confirmed the news that their baby was born.
