Tonight, the 82nd annual Golden Globes are officially underway in Los Angeles, California. The star-studded awards ceremony, hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, will celebrate the year’s buzziest film and television projects. Leading the nominations this year include films Emilia Pérez, Anora, The Substance, Challengers, Babygirl, and Wicked, among others; The Diplomat, Shogun, The Bear, Hacks, and more are up for television awards. Of course, this means some of Hollywood’s top stars will come out for the affair. Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, Cynthia Erivo, Zendaya, Pamela Anderson, Demi Moore, and Nicole Kidman are just a few of the nominated leading ladies we can expect to see.
The evening kicks off with a glitzy red carpet, and it’s certainly a fashion spectacle worth tuning in for. The Golden Globes has a history of being graced with some of the most memorable red carpet dresses of all time. Take Lupita Nyong’o and her red Ralph Lauren cape dress in 2014, or Margot Robbie in a plastic-fantastic Barbie-pink Armani gown just last year—glamour and drama always abound. This year, we predict the assortment of custom and fresh-off-the-runway looks to be just as splendid to behold.
