Designer Francis Libiran marks his 25th anniversary with his “Phoenix” collection, which traces a narrative of rebirth and transformation—reflective of his own journey in fashion. He tells Vogue Philippines, “I think it has a very sentimental meaning. It’s ‘rise from the ashes.'”
His color story transitions from gold to ash grays and sheer blacks before finally erupting in a fiery blaze of red. “25 years of doing this made me learn a lot of lessons,” Libiran narrates. “When something is not doing well, you just have to stand up and do what you love to do. That is, setting your goal and your passion towards that.”
