The singer meant business at a recent launch for her Rare Beauty line.
Selena Gomez previously told British Vogue that she felt “very business-esque” with the sleek bob haircut she adopted last year. Now, the singer and beauty mogul has added a new, equally impactful style to her repertoire: a sleek, super-long plait, the handiwork of Orlando Pita, which she debuted at an event for her Rare Beauty line in New York.
Make-up artist Hung Vanngo posted a TikTok-inspired reel of Selena’s extreme plait, showing the singer going from bare-faced to sleek and camera-ready in a flash. The clip also offered a close-up of her chosen beauty look, comprised of winged eyeliner and a glossy lip, achieved using her own-brand Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil.
Making Gomez’s signature statement brows look good requires little effort. Her secret? “I do not pluck them – I don’t get them waxed, they are not touched! I just do little things here and there to fix them. My tip is not to go in with the tweezers!” she previously revealed.
Gomez nailed her hair and make-up, and her outfit meant business, too. Her stylist Kate Young selected a fuzzy coat, tailored trousers and smart boots from Paris Texas for her client to wear, complete with a work-meets-play bag from Delvaux.
