Join Emily Ratajkowski, Vera Wang, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, and More at Forces of Fashion

Vogue’s Forces of Fashion conference will return this fall with in-person events taking place in New York, Mexico City, Mumbai and, for the first time, Shanghai and Rome. The New York summit on October 19 will offer attendees unprecedented access to Vogue and its editorial staff, with the day’s events hosted at Condé Nast headquarters at One World Trade Center.

Forces of Fashion will feature a mix of conversations, panels, and hands-on masterclasses with editors, designers, influencers, executives, and other fashion industry professionals. The event will be hosted by The Run-Through With Vogue’s Chioma Nnadi and Chloe Malle—who will conduct a special live episode of the podcast with model and author Emily Ratajkowski. The day will begin with opening remarks from Anna Wintour, Condé Nast chief content officer and Vogue global editorial director, followed by a conversation with Bottega Veneta creative director Matthieu Blazy—and behind-the-scenes access to see how Vogue is made with sessions hosted by fashion director Virginia Smith, accessories and collaborations director Willow Lindley, Vogue Runway director Nicole Phelps, and many more. All guests are invited to join Vogue‘s Alexandra Macon, designer Vera Wang, and actor Beanie Feldstein for a wedding panel. VIP ticket holders will enjoy breakfast or lunch in Anna Wintour’s office. There will also be networking events for attendees.

Participants can also expect appearances from models including Paloma Elsesser, and Anok Yai; designers Tommy Hilfiger, Joseph Altuzarra, and Hillary Taymour; stylist and editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson; legendary hair and makeup pros Pat McGrath and Evanie Frausto; artist Drake Carr; and creative director, activist, entrepreneur and author Aurora James.

And if all that isn’t enough? The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners will be announced live at Forces for the first time, with the program—switched up during the pandemic—returning to its original competition format, culminating with awarding a winner $300,000 and two runner-ups $100,000. The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund was established shortly after 9/11 to help emerging designers and cultivate the next generation of American fashion talent.

Forces of Fashion 2023 is presented by Disney Create 100 and FARFETCH, and supported by TOMMY HILFIGER. Mercedes-Benz is the official luxury electric vehicle transportation of Forces of Fashion.
