As Heart Evangelista begins another week of front row attendances at Paris Fashion Week, she taps into her femininity with her look for Dior’s spring 2025 show.
Around this time last year, Heart Evangelista had her Vogue Philippines cover story shoot in the middle of Paris Fashion Week. On the streets of Paris, Evangelista wore a mermaid hem flounce gown, a shagreen circle blouse, embellished trousers, a long-sleeved vinyl combishort, to name a few looks from the shoot. This year, she began another round of front-row attendance in Milan and Paris: Tod’s, YSL, Elie Saab, Missoni, Max Mara, and now, the Dior.
Dior’s spring 2025 show hit the target—literally. The show opens with Italian artist and competitive archer Sagg Napoli entering a glass partition, shooting at targets in the middle of the runway. Dressed in a one-shoulder bodysuit and miniskirt, Napoli channels the energy of Diana the Huntress, reflecting Maria Grazia Chiuri’s exploration of strong women. “Myths tell us you have to renounce your femininity to be strong and to be right,” Chiuri said at a preview. “But Sagg says no, you don’t have to renounce your femininity to be strong.”
Knee-high gladiator boots, blazers with mesh track pants, bodysuits under semi-transparent dresses, and jackets with parachute straps explore streetwear-influenced athleticism. The collection also showcased more traditional ready-to-wear clothing with a ‘70s graphic Dior logo that accentuated the feel of aerodynamics and speed. Shoulders were also bared in shirts and jackets that fall off of one shoulder, arms accessorized with long gloves that almost reaches the shoulder.
Evangelista channels the strength of a woman’s femininity in her ensemble as well. A modern and glamorous take on a classic silhouette, she wears a matching two-piece textured leopard set, accessorized with gold jewelry. “Today’s inspiration: The Louvre,” she writes in an Instagram post. “Maria Grazia Chiuri reimagines timeless beauty in this season’s collection.”
