Florals For Spring That Are Actually Groundbreaking

Simone Rocha. Acielle / StyleDuMonde

Whimsical blossoms at London Fashion Week come in crystal ornaments and embroideries.

This season, botanicals bloom at London Fashion Week. Various floral arrangements in varying metals and materials made their way down the runway across the likes of Erdem, Simone Rocha, and Halpern. At Erdem, soft sweeping dresses are lined with crystal-embroidered flowers, as well as mismatched floral prints stitched together as full dresses.

Meanwhile, Simone Rocha’s show was a garland of floral gowns from layers of ruched looks in pink botanical wallpaper prints to bomber jackets featuring enlarged sequined flowers.

Over at Halpern, oversized blossoms in gold hardware cascade down elegant black velvet ensembles. The playful wreath-like textures earn the golden seal this season.
