Bianca Bustamante was in Magda Butrym and Dior Beauty as she prepared for the premiere of her Netflix docuseries.

For her red carpet appearance at the premiere of Netflix’s F1: The Academy, produced by Reese Witherspoon’s production company Hello Sunshine, Vogue Philippines cover star and rising motorsport talent Bianca Bustamante made an exceptional entrance in an architectural design by Magda Butrym and Dior Beauty.

“Tonight is such a special milestone for me, my very first premiere,” Bianca says while getting ready. “I wanted to wear something that made me feel powerful and confident. I’ve always believed there’s something timeless and bold about a red dress, and this Magda Butrym one just felt right. It captures strength, femininity, and fire, everything I want to bring to the track and beyond.”

She completed the look with Jimmy Choo pumps and David Yurman jewelry. “The pieces felt modern yet classic, perfect for a night that means so much to me.”

Stylist Holly White knew exactly what she wanted to achieve with the look. “For Bianca’s red-carpet look, I wanted something chic, impactful, and a little sexy,” she says. “When we tried this look, we just knew it was the one. The dress has a clean silhouette, but the neckline and curved asymmetry make it stand out. You’re drawn to her in all the right ways.”

Bianca was deeply invested in the process and brought a clear sense of excitement and enthusiasm. “Bianca trusted me to curate a look that felt special and one that would give her maximum confidence,” says White. “There wasn’t a single thing on the rail she didn’t love, which is such a dream for a stylist.”

Although Bianca comes from a sports background, White approached the styling process with the same goal she brings to all her clients. “For me, the process is always the same. I’m here to build confidence. It’s not about what job they do, it’s about who they are. I want their style to reflect their personality and help them feel like the best version of themselves.”

Makeup artist Nova Kaplan handled glam with a focus on radiant, natural beauty. “Bianca’s premiere was such a special moment, and creating this look felt intuitive,” Kaplan says. “We focused on glowing, healthy skin. The Dior Rouge Blush Colour & Glow in the shade ‘Diorette’ was my hero product. It gave her that lit-from-within warmth. Bia loves orange blush tones, but it can be hard to find the right one for her complexion. This shade gave us the sunny glow we wanted.”

Kaplan continued the warm tones on the lips. “We used Dior’s Lip Contour in ‘Nude Style,’ which has a beautiful terracotta undertone. It paired perfectly with the blush. The goal was soft glam that complemented the bold red dress without competing with it. Bianca has such striking features, and Dior’s formulas helped bring those out in a really natural way.”

Seeing the full look come together was a highlight for everyone. “She was so excited,” White says. “There’s nothing better than that moment when the client sees the whole vision come to life. Hair, makeup, styling, all aligning. Watching her light up and radiate confidence on the carpet is the best part of my job.”

Bianca reflected on how her sense of style has evolved. “Absolutely, I feel like my fashion sense is growing along with my career,” she said. “Since working with Storm Management in London, I’ve grown not just as a racer, but as a young woman building her brand. Fashion is another way I express myself. I’m learning to dress with more intention and enjoy every part of the experience.”

As for the premiere itself, the moment held profound meaning. “Seeing myself on the big screen still feels surreal,” Bianca shares. “Coming into this world as a rookie in both racing and media is such an empowering moment. I hope the show inspires young girls, especially those watching from places like the Philippines, to believe they belong in motorsport too. We’re breaking barriers, and this is just the beginning.”
