Liza Soberano, Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey, Sarah Lahbati, and Richard Gutierrez like their leather lined with gold.
Before stars settled in the nestled haunt of Shangri-La The Fort’s The Back Room for Vogue Philippines’ Gala afterparty, they traded their floor-grazing gowns and finely tailored suits for something a bit more comfortable, albeit still within the realm of the ultra-luxe.
Below, see the looks that dazzled after-hours, from Liza Soberano to Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez.
Anne Curtis
Before actress Anne Curtis lounged in velvet loveseats and chatted up fellow stars Bretman Rock and Bryanboy, she changed into a pointed bib dress from Louis Vuitton for the evening. Featuring peek-a-boo shoulder cut-outs and a graphic combination of black and white, the look juxtaposed smart and structured with playful and bold. Dainty diamond accents and platform heels finished off the look, with her pair of blacked-out shades to help ease the transition to tomorrow.
Liza Soberano
Actress Liza Soberano opted for a black mini dress and vest. Touches of gilded glamour bring the look together, with gold embellishments on her vest, touches of gold jewelry, and glittering knee-high boots.
Nadine Lustre
Take cues from actress and musician Nadine Lustre’s after-hours cocktail party look: tweed mini with a vinyl crossover bust detail, paired with black lace stockings and lace-up boots. The play on texture and silhouette is an ode to Lustre’s love of feminine cuts and silhouettes, spliced with a bit of edge. Gold accents took the form of Louis Vuitton’s four-point star monogram dangling earrings.
LA Aguinaldo
LA Aguinaldo went for a more contemporary, workwear-inspired look for the Vogue Gala afterparty. He paired a printed shirt with an embroidered cropped jacket. His touch of color came in the form of a camera bag, with an abstract eye print overlaying Louis Vuitton’s signature monogram and trailing silver chains.
Pia Wurtzbach
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey exuded a laidback cool in head-to-toe noir. Her sheer long-sleeved jumpsuit was paired with thick gold hardware and sleek black heels.
Mavy Legaspi
Actor Mavy Legaspi changed from the white suit he wore to the Anniversary Gala into this casual, all-black number. He threw on a sleek monogrammed varsity jacket over a pair of oversized, high-waisted slacks.
Sarah Lahbati
Actress and reality star Sarah Lahbati and her dashing husband Richard Gutierrez made a fashion-forward pair at the Gala’s backrooms. Lahbati wore Louis Vuitton’s crossover top affixed with gold buttons, pairing it with leather shorts lined with gold grommets. The mini Louis Vuitton Capucines bag in gold and silver snakeskin made the glimmering final touch.
Richard Gutierrez
Lahbati’s suave date, actor Gutierrez, on the other hand, wore a cropped leather jacket emblazoned with a supersized iteration of Louis Vuitton’s signature Damier print. Over a casual T-shirt and black pants, there was room in the evening for a dance or two.
Raymond Gutierrez
TV presenter and entrepreneur Raymond Gutierrez wore a cropped silk jacket, back emblazoned with ribbons and birds, with white pants. Clean-cut with the addition of a future-forward mini Speedy, it was a look made for a stylish catchup with fellow stars and some of Manila’s brightest personalities.
