Turns out, a colorful camo print can be dressy.
As one of the seven band members of BTS, J-Hope is no stranger to shining on the red carpet. Over the years, the South Korean rapper has slipped into everything from whimsical Gucci looks to sleek Celine suits. He’s clearly not afraid to experiment with fashion and to test out different aesthetics—and what better place to do this than at fashion week? This morning in Paris, the star attended Louis Vuitton’s fall 2023 menswear show dressed in a boldly colored camouflage look that was surprisingly dressy and front row-worthy.
J-Hope’s zip-up jacket, silky button-up shirt, and trousers were covered in a purple, burgundy, and black camo print. Certainly, this was not the kind you’d see someone wear for utility, considering the outer layers were suede and also stamped with Vuitton’s signature monogram print. To make it feel a little more high fashion, J-Hope paired the look with chunky burgundy sneakers and a subtle bijoux necklace. The best part about it? The print appeared on the runway today—meaning, J-Hope was one of the first celebrities to rock the new design. Considering he’s a global K-pop superstar, we’d say he’s worth it.
