Bad Bunny Designed His Super Bowl Trainers Himself

Bad Bunny’s halftime performance at the 2026 Super Bowl will go down in the history books – not least because he was the first Latino male artist to headline the event. While the special appearances from Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin may have caused a buzz, our eyes were also, naturally, on what the Puerto Rican superstar was wearing on the night.

Rather than opting for the likes of Schiaparelli or Maison Margiela as he has done in the past, Bad Bunny surprised fans by wearing a custom look by high-street giant Zara. The head-to-toe cream look comprised a collared shirt and tie, a sport-inspired jersey with the name Ocasio and number 64 on it (thought to be a tribute to his mother Lysaurie Ocasio, who was born in 1964), and matching chinos.

Finishing off the look? The Grammy winner wore a pair of chunky ’90s-inspired sneakers – specifically, the BadBo 1.0 trainers that are part of his collaboration with Adidas. It comes after a limited run of the same style (1,994 pairs, to be exact, in a nod to Bad Bunny’s birth year) was released in brown and white last weekend and promptly sold out. Meanwhile, the rapper was also photographed wearing the trainers in a yet-to-be released grey, black and blue colourway at a pre-Super Bowl press conference last week.

Given that millions tuned in for the Super Bowl halftime performance on Sunday night, it makes sense that Bad Bunny would model his own design on the big stage. After all, he is is own best advert.
