Jann Pascua charts the evolving language of Vogue Philippines’ design, while AKTOR’s Dingdong Dantes, Iza Calzado, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and Elijah Canlas discuss performance, advocacy, and the collective power of actors’ voices.
The second day bridges the page and the screen, exploring how visual and performance-based storytelling shape culture. In the morning, Jann Pascua outlines the editorial direction of Vogue Philippines, showing how covers, layouts, and features accumulate into an evolving archive. He positions design as memory-making, where each spread lives beyond the moment of publication.
By afternoon, the focus turns to performance as the members of AKTOR: Dingdong Dantes, Iza Calzado, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and Elijah Canlas, moderated by Aya Fernandez, revisit the organization’s founding during the pandemic. They speak of actors as artisans and advocates, working collectively toward fair recognition, safety, and dignity within the industry. The day underscores that whether in magazine form or on the screen, stories endure when they are built in solidarity.
