From soft minimalism to bold, avant-garde statements, Pom Klementieff’s beauty looks are as versatile as the roles she takes on.

Pom Klementieff has always understood that beauty is as much about attitude as it is about aesthetics. Best known for her roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and Mission: Impossible, the French-Korean actress moves between blockbuster action and indie storytelling with ease, just as she does with her makeup looks.

On red carpets and magazine covers alike, Klementieff moves seamlessly between graphic eyeliner, sculptural hairstyles, and fresh-faced minimalism, often favoring looks that highlight rather than mask her natural features. Here, we look back at some of the action star’s best beauty looks.

Long and dark hair

In 2008, Klementieff was just beginning to make her way in the industry. In one of her earlier photoshoots shot by Friedmann Hauss, she wore her long hair sleek and glossy, parted to the side with soft layers that frame her face. The makeup was minimal with natural skin and no visible contouring. There was little to no eye makeup, too, letting her natural eye shape and lashes stand out.

Lavender eyes

For the Chanel haute couture show in 2017, Klementieff pulled her signature platinum blonde hair into a sside-parted updo. For the eyes, she wore lavender winged eyeliner that popped against her dewy complexion and blonde hair. Lips were kept natural, in a soft pink or nude shade that balanced her eye makeup.

Classic red lips

Klementieff went for a classic look with a red lip and vintage-inspired waves for the 2020 Vanity Fair EE BAFTA Rising Star Party. The lashes were full and fluttery, giving her eyes a wide, doll-like effect. There was a subtle shimmer or highlight on the lids, but the focus remains clean and classic. To finish off the look, she wore a bold, satin-finish red lipstick.

Dotted eyes

At the 2022 Loewe Rodeo Drive show, Klementieff drew attention to her eyes with circular teal-blue dots above and below each eye. There was also a touch of shimmering gold eyeshadow on her eyelids, paired with black eyeliner and mascara to define her eyes. Her lips were kept soft and natural with a subtle nude-pink gloss, which paired well with the dewy finish that highlighted her complexion.

Doll-like beauty

For the Chanel and Variety’s ‘Women in Film’ dinner, Klementieff wore long, separated lashes that gave her a doe-eyed, fluttery effect. There wass a soft pink hue on her lids, paired with precise eyeliner. A gentle flush of cool-toned pink blush added freshness and dimension to her face, and her lips were tinted with a soft rosy pink color.

Green-eyed

At the 2024 Off-White retreat party, Klementieff sported pink hair, styled in an edgy, sculpted updo with spiky curls and face-framing tendrils. She framed her eyes with a wash of neon yellow-green eyeshadow that extends dramatically across the lids and up towards the brows, creating a sharp effect. She also wore long, voluminous lashes and subtle black liner. A touch of peachy blush and luminous highlighter added glow to her cheekbones, tied together with muted rose-mauve shade to her lips.
