Tracee Ellis Ross Goes Bleach Blonde for Vogue World 2025: Hollywood

Do blondes have more fun? That’s what Tracee Ellis Ross decided to find out at Vogue World: Hollywood.

The actor and beauty entrepreneur arrived at Los Angeles’s famed Paramount lot dressed in an oversized Givenchy by Sarah Burton trench coat—perfect for the surprisingly crisp weather—and decked out in stacks of jewels.

While Ellis Ross comes from Hollywood royalty herself—her mother, Diana Ross, starred in films like The Wiz (1978) and Mahogany (1975)—she chose to pay homage to a different star: actor and famous bleach blonde Marilyn Monroe. While Monroe is thought to have only visited this lot one time in 1960, her Paramount company films include Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), The Seven Year Itch (1955), and Some Like It Hot (1959).

While the jury still may be out on whether blondes have more fun, all signs (a.k.a. plenty of smiles and laughs during the show) are pointing to yes.
