Another day, another cool girl getting a cool-girl chop. Today, it’s actor Phoebe Dynevor, who has officially joined Team Bob. The London-based actor trusted hairstylist Cervando Maldonado with transforming her chest-skimming locks.
Maldonado’s scissors have a magic touch: he maintains Daisy Edgar-Jones’s enviable bangs as well as Kristen Stewart’s peicey cut. Believe it or not, this is the first time Dynevor and Maldonado have worked together.
“Phoebe has had long hair for a while and was ready for a change,” Maldonado tells Vogue exclusively. “I would consider the cut a modern take on a classic mid-length bob, though it’s a specific bob just for her.”
For Dynevor’s bob, the Maldonado cites his inspiration as “a modern version of a take on ’70s Lauren Hutton, and Nastassja Kinski in Paris, Texas.” He adds that her enviable shine comes from using the right foundation: Hairapy shampoo and conditioner (to “give the hair a lot of body and shine”) and a touch of Oribe mousse when it was wet for a bit more volume.
