While the naked manicure trend has been reigning supreme among celebrities, Dua Lipa has forwent the current nail artless aesthetic for something altogether more starry and summer-ready.
The pop star was photographed at the 2025 F1 Grand Prix Of Monaco in Monte-Carlo, touring the pit lanes and posing with racers on the grounds. She kept her overall look pretty casual—a bold yellow cheetah print cropped t-shirt from Coperni and black, loose-fitting jeans, and black and white Puma Speedcat sneakers. Her glam, too, was parred back and warm weather appropriate; with minimal eye makeup, a glossy caramel lip, and blossoming, warm pink blush. She wore her signature, raven-dark hair long and loose.
But it was Dua Lipa’s manicure that spelled star-power—quite literally. The Radical Optimism singer opted for a clear base coat, with tiny silver stars around the edges of the nail bed, and one singular, larger star in the middle.
It’s a switch-up from her 2025 Met Gala appearance, where she did fall in line with the naked manicure trend, the chic and understated look worn by everyone from Anya Taylor-Joy to Selena Gomez.
Her latest, star-studded manicure speaks more to her current style and beauty era, cheerfully clashing prints and colors. She’s been playing with seafoam blue mascara, for one.
And Lipa likes to have fun with her nail art, often starting and defining the season’s manicure trends with each new appointment. Take her eye-catching aura manicure in a spacey blue-gray, or her springtime lemon yellow nails. Same goes for her choice of hair color, pre-empting the current wave of cherry cola-inspired ’dos.
And of course, her choice of manicure is all the more the star of the show when she’s rocking that engagement ring from husband-to-be, actor Callum Turner.
With summer about to be in full swing, Lipa has her usual worldly travels all lined up—and likely, the summer nail art designs front-of-mind for her next appointment.
