Pristine L. De Leon is an arts writer, critic, and educator. She currently teaches at the Ateneo de Manila University, and is the art columnist at The Philippine Star. She has written catalogue essays and exhibition notes for art galleries and museums such as the Vargas Museum, the Ateneo Art Gallery, ArtInformal Gallery, Paseo Gallery, and Art Fair Philippines. From 2014 to 2016, she held editorial positions at Hinge Inquirer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Ateneo de Manila University where she studied communication with a minor in literature. She eventually obtained her Master of Arts in Art Studies from the University of the Philippines.
