Marian Pastor Roces

Marian Pastor Roces is a curator, author, critic, and historian. She is the founder and president of TAO INC. Through this, she has curated and established several museums including UP Manila’s Museum of a History of Ideas, the Yuchengco Museum, Museo Marino, the Cultural Center's Museo ng Kalinangang Katutubo, and more. Her written work—including Over Here: International Perspectives on Art and Culture, MIT Press (2007), The Biennale Reader, Bergen Kunsthall/Hatje Cantz [2010]; House of Glass: Culture, Modernity, and the State in Southeast Asia, ISEAS Publishing, Singapore (2001); What to Let Go?, Para Site International Conference (at press 2023); and more—have been published internationally.
