Kathleen Baird-Murray is a journalist, strategy consultant, and creative who is a contributing beauty editor at British Vogue. She formerly served as the publication's acting beauty director from 2017 to 2018. Prior to working with Vogue, she held editorial positions at various publications, was a beauty columnist at the Financial Times, and a freelance copywriter. She has worked with clients—including Aman, Charlotte Tilbury, Coty, Conde Nast Commercial division, Decleor, Helena Rubinstein, YSL Beaute, Varley, and Wildsmith Skin—in a consultancy, copywriting, and advisory capacity. She is the author of the following books: How to Be Beautiful (The Thinking Woman's Guide), Face Value, and Vogue On Ralph Lauren. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sussex where she studied law.
