Could Clip-On Earbuds Be Fashionable Accessories? These Personalities Test Them Out

In Taguig, creatives, lifestyle creators, and fashion enthusiasts alike discovered how to style their sound

Recently at the Enderun Atrium in Bonifacio Global City, Shokz, a proudly claimed world-leading open-ear headphones brand and pioneer in audio technology, showcased how its activity-informed designs can be styled alongside the everyday wardrobe.

Centered on its newly unveiled OpenDots 2 earbuds, the brand invited local creatives to showcase how its refreshed look can be expressed creatively while still staying in the moment.

At the event, guests such as actress Sam Pinto, lifestyle creator Janina Manipol, and model-DJ Sanya Smith were seen sharing photographs and conversations alongside their open-ear accessories. Opening the event’s formalities, the OpenDots 2 earbuds were detailed as a much-needed quality-of-life upgrade to their predecessor, focusing primarily on enhancing the device’s bass-forward soundstage and Dolby Audio spatial audio experience.

As part of Shokz’s lifestyle-focused lineup, the brand also expressed how the earbuds were designed to transition easily between activities through its 40-hour battery life, from everyday activities such as hikes, runs, pilates, and commutes to locking in at work or household chores.

The product’s grey, black, and pearl white colorways also became a canvas for creative expression, as makeup artists Miki Liuson, Kenric Carpio,  and Celine Cabildo took to interpret each through their own distinct artistic lenses.

Later, guests including Nicole Cordoves, Patricia Henson, and Bianca King brought their own personalities to the OpenDots 2, showcasing how the same piece of technology can take on a different character depending on who wears it.

For Shokz, the evening was said to reflect its “Be Open” philosophy, which encourages users to stay immersed in sound without tuning out the world around them. With OpenDots 2, Shokz hopes to bring that balance into style, bridging sound, self-expression, and everyday life.
